The RealtySmart® name is a perfect name to describe your company, your people, or the technology used by your company. The name has staying power and can be used to train the consumer to help differentiate your company from your competition. Rather you are in the Real Estate Sales and Leasing Business, the Mortgage Business, or the Title Insurance Business, the name says it all.

Other industries have built their businesses around the word “smart” because of its implied meaning. Southwest Airlines referred to themselves as PlaneSmart® for years and they remain a leader in air travel today. PetSmart®, AutoSmart®, SmartHouse®, SmartCard®, DigiSmart®, SmartGuard®, Smart-Cars, FloodSmart, MoneySmart®, FoodSmart®, WordSmart, CreditSmart®, Kid Smart®, Smart Car®, and Food Smart® are just a few. Godaddy.com just adopted their new "smartspace" portal program, which converts domain names into immediate websites or blogs. They just applied for a Trademark on the name. With Trademark Licensing Protection, there can only be one owner of the RealtySmart® Trademark and it might as well be you.

The consumer remembers marketed slogans or "coined phrases" and the simpler they are, the easier it is for the consumer to remember and identify with the company tied to the slogan or "coined phrase". RealtySmart® says it all and it is not only simple, but it says it all.

This Trademark and Domain Package has never been For Sale till now and we will be promoting the package till we find the right buyer. The first company who acts, will be the only company that owns the Trademark and can then promote the trademark on a national level.

The Trademark Licensing Agreement is for a 50-year period.

•	The word “Realty” means real estate or real property. As Realtors, we define real estate or real property as "land and fixtures attached to the land". It is further defined as: freehold, immovable, land, buildings and land, landholdings, lot, plat, plot, real property, realty, or even territory.

•	The word “Flex" is short for the word "Flexible”. Flexible means to be bendable, elastic, adaptable, accommodating, variable, open, adjustable, elastic, extensible, formable, limber, moldable, plastic, pliable, springy, stretchable, yielding, or accomodating.

•	The Antonym or opposite of Flexible is stiff or rigid.

If the name connotation implies flexibility, it is reasonable to assume Brokers, Agents, and Sellers that are desiring flexibility would be attracted to RealtyFlex.

RealtyFlex was started in March of 2003 and was granted a Registered Trademark from the United State Patent & Trademark Office in 2004. Knowing that the future of real estate sales was going to be different from what we have ever seen before, the name choice for this new real estate company had to openly define to the Brokers, Agents, and to the Consumer’s the intended connotation that we wanted them to perceive. In many companies, the product and or the services rendered will “make” the name, but in this case and in these changing times, we wanted the name to help establish the intended concept of the company. For instance, the names McDonalds and Wendy’s do not imply anything, but the names Pizza Hut, Burger King, and Subway do.

We all understand how the consumer uses the Internet to shop for products and the same is happening now in real estate. It is clear that our industry is rapidly changing and we can either do nothing and watch our business slowly change away from us or we can adjust our ways of thinking and influence the changes for our own financial benefits. We believe the days of the traditional ways of thinking are clearly over and the days of needed flexibility are here to stay. It is crucial that a Realtor must never confuse being flexible in our business as the need to ever compromise their core values, their character, and their principles as a person and as a Realtor. Ongoing honesty and integrity are absolute traits needed to be a long-term successful Realtor. Anything less than that will cause you to fail.

If you see the future of the real estate market as we do and if you see the need for Realtors to be flexible, accommodating, bendable, and negotiable, then you may be a strong candidate to become a RealtyFlex Licensee. For the inflexible, stiff, rigid, and old traditional minded Realtors, you might be forced to change your way of thinking or you might be run over by the new breed of Internet savvy Realtors coming into our industry today.
